Full Height Turnstile

The use of a full height turnstile has become increasingly popular in public and commercial areas where there is a need to control footfall. Establishments such as stadiums, theme parks, and public buildings are adopting this simple innovation to help control the speed of access and even keep count. Being able to track the number of patrons at a venue is particularly helpful when there are restrictions on occupancy due to such issues as fire hazards. Turnstiles only allow one person through at a time, making it easy to keep track.

They can be used in conjunction with many other access control systems including card readers, token acceptors, and biometric fingerprint scanners. It can also be customised to turn in specific directions – clockwise, anticlockwise, or bi-directional. This can help control the direction of traffic as needed. We also offer the option of either straight arms, or trombone style. The use of mild or stainless steel in construction and epoxy primer finishing is not only strong but also weather-resistant, making the use of this turnstile suitable in even wet outdoor conditions.

Other bespoke features that are available at additional cost include fire alarm activation, canopy, LED down lights, and directional indicators. This structure does not require assembling as it comes fully constructed and ready for immediate installation. It can also be customised in terms of colour. We offer a good selection of RAL colours to choose from or customising of corporate colours if desired.

This turnstile also comes with a manual key switch override which can allow free entry or exit whenever needed. Its modern design makes it easy to use and convenient. We also offer this full height turnstile with an option of single or double alternatives. It can also be coupled with a pedestrian gate. These additional features are a good consideration when capacity is an issue.
