BUSINESS AS USUAL, with small exceptions - most stock UK manufactured.
At Barriers Direct, we stock an amazing range of protectors, canopies and wheelie bin shelters. Our bike shelters come in many sizes, designs and colours. One example is the Dalton cycle shelter. The simple, minimalist open design, which can be coupled with popular bike stands such as the Sheffield stand, makes it a popular choice. It features a distinct curved roof shape with Y-shaped supporting posts.
Our Cambridge cycle shelter is a popular choice among institutions of higher learning. The freestanding galvanised frame is great for withstanding all weather conditions and offers single-sided access to cyclists. In the largest size that we offer it can accommodate up to 12 bikes. If you are looking for added security for bicycles, we recommend our more secure shelter options like the compound cycle shelters. These shelters feature a curved roof and all-round UV-resistant opaque polycarbonate panels. You can access the structure via a single lockable gate.
Our small wall-mounted smoking shelters accommodate a few people at a time but are compliant with legal requirements and are weather-resistant. The translucent polycarbonate roofing helps provide strong UV protection. Another consideration is our Canopy-AL model. This lightweight wall-mounted canopy offers protection from harsh weather conditions and comes in a variety of colours.
The Voute system is one of our most adaptable shelter options. It can be customised to work as a cycle shelter, walkway, bus shelter or smoking shelter. The overhead canopies of its bays are made of translucent anti-UV cellular polycarbonate glazing. We also offer simple bus shelter solutions such as the Malta and Leris bus shelters. Both feature a simple design suitable to most rural and urban settings. They also both come with square steel posts with galvanised and painted finishes.
Many of our simple shelters can work as a wheelie bin shelter if needed. The enclosure helps ensure that the bin remains immobilised until time of collection. Swivel tube handles are used as the entrance way to the enclosure and lock the bin in place when lowered.
