Verge Marker Posts

For the safe highlighting of road edges, bends, and footpaths, Barriers Direct offers the use of verge marker posts. These small yet highly visible barriers offer a strong warning as to the boundary of the road so that drivers can make suitable corrections when driving. This is helpful in preventing damage to grass and other vegetation, and avoid injuries to pedestrians using the space.  They also provide a strong deterrent to those attempting to park by the side of the road in risky areas like bends, junctions or along narrow roads.

Easy to install in soft ground, it can be quickly deployed where need be. Each post features reflector at the top that helps keep them visible even in the absence of street lighting. This is further enhanced by the black and white stripe colours used on the rest of the post. The reflector is also shatterproof, keeping the post useful even in the event of a collision. Made of recyclable polyethylene (PE), the post and its ground anchor possess rebound properties that allow it to bounce back even after being struck. Flexible yet strong, these verge marker posts still retain their functionality even after repeated assaults.

Their UV stabilised material also allows them to withstand extended exposure to sunlight and promotes their durability. Coming in at a height of 997mm above ground, the posts can be easily seen by drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. A further 100mm is inserted into the ground anchor.
