Flow Plate information:

Overall dimension

• 305 mm wide

This Surface Mounted Flow Plate has been designed to offer many advantages over the standard design. The main features being:-

• Eliminates the problem of piercing roadway surfaces to an approximate depth of 12”.
• Enforced one way traffic flow.
• Easy to fix or relocate.
• No drainage required.
• Tough, heavy duty patented design.
• To also be used in conjunction with our Speed Ramps.
• Fixings available as an extra

The plates provide a cheap form of barrier when complying with our recommendations

• 1) Raise road surface (i.e. speed ramp) to restrict approach speed of cars
• 2) Exclude heavy vehicles from operating the plates (over one tonne)
• 3) Avoid sitting plates on a convex slope
• 4) Avoid layouts encouraging cars to approach plates more than 15 degrees out of line
• 5) Provide good general illumination
• 6) It is essential that the spring is lubricated/greased on a regular basis and debris removed from under the flap

Plates can be fixed direct to concrete or heavy-duty high grade tarmac surfaces by drilling the road way and inserting 6 anchor bolts (75 mm long) for each plate. NOTE: FIXING STUDS WITH NUTS ARE NOT TO BE USED

Speed Ramp information:

• 5cm speed ramp will slow traffic down to 15mph
• Black & Yellow sections c/w reflectors including ends
• Heavy duty recycled PVC segments for early, visual warning.
• Height levels: 5.0cm
• Fixing methods includes bolt down on 5.0cm or alternative fixing methods.
• Provided with centre run cable tunnel for temporary traffic lights, fairgrounds, water supplies etc.
• Channel size for centre run is 20mm x 40mm
• Bolts included (75mm long).
• Maximum Weight supported up to 44,000kg (44 tons)
• Not suitable for forklift traffic
