The SB.23H Single Leaf Height Restrictor with Low-Level Locking is the ideal heavy-duty solution for preventing unauthorised access to staff or public car parks. This model features an innovative extended latch, dropping the locking facility to an easily accessible height. This ergonomic design enables all authorized users to comfortably and safely operate the padlock without reaching or straining.

Manufactured from premium 100mm x 100mm steel box section, this barrier is available to cover road widths from 3 to 6 metres. The swinging gate design provides the flexibility to allow larger vehicles, emergency services, or deliveries through when required.

  • Ergonomic Low-Level Locking: Extended latch facility ensures comfortable, ground-level access for all users. The self-locking gate catch is securely welded on during the manufacturing process.
  • Robust Construction: Built from heavy-duty 100mm x 100mm steel box section for long-lasting durability against frequent use and harsh weather.
  • Standard Sizing: Available in clear opening widths from 3m to 6m, with a standard height restriction clearance of 2.1m (2.3m clearance available upon application).
  • 180-Degree Opening: The gate can swing up to 180 degrees (dependent on hinge post positioning) to provide maximum vehicle clearance.
  • Fitting Options: Available as a sunken fixture (concrete-in) or surface mounted (bolt-down). Note: Concrete-in is highly recommended across all sizes for maximum post rigidity and structural stability.
  • Technical Specs: Hinge posts sit 1000mm below ground; latch & latch-back posts sit 500mm below ground (if the concrete-in option is selected). Bolt holes are 16mm diameter (fixings not supplied).

  • Galvanised Only: Extended life against rust and corrosion.
  • Powder Coated Only: Standard colours available for high visibility and corporate matching.
  • Double Finish: Galvanised and powder-coated for ultimate weather resistance.

Delivery & Fabrication Notice

These products are made to order to ensure the highest quality finish. Standard manufacturing and delivery typically takes 7 to 14 working days. Please note: Selecting a double finish (Galvanised & Powder Coated) will increase the lead time by up to 5 working days. While our checkout provides an estimated lead time based on our minimum fabrication schedule, exact delivery dates are confirmed upon order processing and scheduling with our transport team.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY NOTE: Please be aware that these are substantial units. Offloading beyond the kerbside is the customer's responsibility. Ensure suitable equipment or personnel are available on-site at the time of delivery.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATION: We strongly advise using warning signage (or nudge bars) and latch-back posts on all opening barriers. Latch-back posts are critical for safely securing the gate in the open position to prevent it from swinging into traffic or pedestrians. Please note: Customers opting out of recommended latch posts assume liability for safe operation.

I have an old fitting that needs removing before the new one can be installed. Can you uninstall it, and will you take it away?

Yes, our installation team can uninstall redundant fittings and in some instances decommission electrical equipment too. Dependent on the job we may also be able to dispose of old fittings on your behalf. Additional fees may apply for this service, please discuss with us at the time of ordering, as this cannot be arranged on the day. Our installers will also bring with them any tools or equipment required to carry out the installation and dispose of any waste material created as a result of their work, and will assist with the reinstatement of surfaces after removal and installation. Can the installer bring the products with them on the day of installation, rather than having them delivered separately?

In some situations it’s easier for installers to bring your products with them on the day. Depending on the product, it is sometimes possible for the installer to bring the item(s) with them on the day of installation rather than arranging a separate delivery. If this is essential, for instance if no one is available onsite to sign for deliveries or if you have nowhere safe to store items, please discuss your needs with us at time of booking. We are also happy to accommodate timed delivery services if deliveries can only be accepted within specific timeframes or certain days, although additional charges may apply for out of standard hours service.

Is a site visit necessary prior to fitting?

How long does delivery take?

We offer a standard delivery service free of charge within Great Britain on most of our products. We aim to get most items to you between 3 and 5 working days, unless otherwise stipulated. Please note, all delivery dates are estimated; we strongly recommend that you do not book tradesmen or projects in until goods have been received on site and checked.

Delivery usually takes place any time between 09:00 and 17:00 on the date of delivery - please ensure someone is in to take safe receipt of your order.

We offer an express delivery service on certain products - see individual product details for more information. This service may also apply to other products, on request.
