Each leaf is engineered from a 50x50mm square hollow section using a rigid triangular form. This design, reinforced by integrated strengthening struts, provides exceptional structural integrity and prevents the gates from sagging over time—ensuring smooth operation for the long term.

To balance budget and environment, we offer two distinct base-metal options beneath the high-quality powder-coated finish:

• Powder Coated on Mild Steel: A cost-effective, aesthetic choice ideal for inland or dry locations where standard protection is sufficient. (Lead Time: 2 working weeks).
• Powder Coated on Galvanised Steel: The premium choice for maximum longevity. The steel is hot-dip galvanised before coating, providing a dual-layer defense essential for coastal or high-moisture environments. (Lead Time: 3 working weeks).

• High-Security Locking: Centrally secured by a sliding shootbolt, which is padlocked and shielded by a security shroud to prevent tampering or cutting.
• Adjustable Hinges: Mounted on heavy-duty square sleeves, the hinges are fully adjustable to ensure a perfect fit and effortless swing.
• Safety Compliance: Supplied as standard with installer-fitted anti-drop safety tethers. The gate leaves and posts come pre-drilled for quick fitting, ensuring mechanical compliance with BS EN 12604:2017.
• Reinforced Latch: Latch posts include an extra-strong, colour-coded latch assembly for a cohesive and durable finish.

Transit and Unpacking: Metal Banding Cutters Option

To ensure safe transit, the gate is flat-packed into four sections and securely banded with metal to a pallet. Consider our "Metal Banding Cutters" option, available at a nominal extra cost:

• Option 1: No (I do not require these, I have my own method of removing metal banding).
• Option 2: Yes (I do require Metal Banding Cutters).

Selecting the Metal Banding Cutters option ensures you have the right tools for hassle-free removal of metal banding during unpacking or assembly.
