An ideal solution for controlling access to unauthorised areas, this heavy-duty single swinging leaf height restrictor is specifically designed to prevent high-sided vehicles, such as HGVs and caravans, from entering staff or public car parks. The swing-opening crossbar offers the flexibility to grant occasional access to larger vehicles when required for deliveries, refuse collections, or emergency services.

Robust and reliable, this barrier serves as the perfect physical deterrent for shopping centres, recreational grounds, and commercial properties.

  • Fitting Options: Available as a sunken fixture (concrete in) or surface mounted (bolt down). Note: Concrete-in is strongly recommended for maximum post rigidity and operational stability.
  • Standard Sizing: Standard clear openings from 3m to 6m with clearance heights from 1.9m to 2.3m.
  • Signage Options: Choose between flush-mounted Static Signs fixed directly to the crossbar, or suspended Nudge Bars that swing freely on impact to alert drivers before contact with the main frame.
  • Access Control: Secure locking facility integrated as standard to padlock the gate securely in the closed position.
  • Safety in Open Position: Compatible with dedicated latch-back catch posts to secure the arm open during scheduled deliveries or emergency vehicle access.

Delivery & Fabrication Notice

These heavy-duty barriers are made to order to ensure the highest quality finish. Standard manufacturing takes between 7 to 14 working days for single finishes (Galvanised or Powder Coated) and 14 to 21 working days for double finishes. Please allow an additional 2 to 3 working days for delivery once fabrication is complete. While our checkout provides an estimated lead time based on minimum schedules, exact delivery dates are confirmed upon order processing and scheduling with our transport team.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY NOTE: Please be aware that these are substantial units. Offloading beyond the kerbside is the customer's responsibility. Ensure suitable equipment or personnel are available on-site at the time of delivery.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATION: To maximize visibility and prevent accidental collisions, we strongly advise installing warning signage and nudge bars on all opening barriers.

LATCH-BACK POST LIABILITY: Latch-back posts are critical for safely securing the gate in the open position. Please note: Customers opting out of these recommended posts assume full liability for safe operation, as unsecured gates can swing into traffic or pedestrians.

I have an old fitting that needs removing before the new one can be installed. Can you uninstall it, and will you take it away?

Yes, our installation team can uninstall redundant fittings and in some instances decommission electrical equipment too. Dependent on the job we may also be able to dispose of old fittings on your behalf. Additional fees may apply for this service, please discuss with us at the time of ordering, as this cannot be arranged on the day. Our installers will also bring with them any tools or equipment required to carry out the installation and dispose of any waste material created as a result of their work, and will assist with the reinstatement of surfaces after removal and installation. Can the installer bring the products with them on the day of installation, rather than having them delivered separately?

In some situations it’s easier for installers to bring your products with them on the day. Depending on the product, it is sometimes possible for the installer to bring the item(s) with them on the day of installation rather than arranging a separate delivery. If this is essential, for instance if no one is available onsite to sign for deliveries or if you have nowhere safe to store items, please discuss your needs with us at time of booking. We are also happy to accommodate timed delivery services if deliveries can only be accepted within specific timeframes or certain days, although additional charges may apply for out of standard hours service.

Is a site visit necessary prior to fitting?

How long does delivery take?

We offer a standard delivery service free of charge within Great Britain on most of our products. We aim to get most items to you between 3 and 5 working days, unless otherwise stipulated. Delivery usually takes place any time between 09:00 and 17:00 on the date of delivery - please ensure someone is in to take safe receipt of your order.
