They come with an integral security lock that you can access easily at the very top of the post. When you need to access the space, you need only unlock and lie the post down horizontally on the ground. It is to be secured in place with bolts and is available in a choice of zinc-plated or yellow powder-coated finish.

Our folding sturdy Toplock post is another great option for anyone wanting a taller parking post. It stands at a height of 750mm and can be easily secured using a small padlock at the top. It can be dropped down either backwards or forwards. The standard fold-down post is shorter, at 620mm. This is still more than adequate to secure a space or deter theft. Made of mild steel, this parking post is only lockable in its upright position. You can secure it with a padlock at the base.

Another popular option is the folding parking post. Made of steel, these parking posts can only be bolted down. It has its own integral lock and comes with two keys. There is the option to key-alike or key-differ. It comes in a highly visible traffic-yellow finish. If you are looking for a smarter option, do consider the semi-automatic dropdown post. While our other options are cylindrical, this post is cuboidal and features an anodised aluminium construction with a red reflective strip to enhance visibility. It can be controlled semi-automatically via a foot pedal at the base to raise it into its upright position.

If you are looking for an alternative design option, we at Barriers Direct recommend the folding parking barrier hoops and the winged folding parking barrier. Their wider designs ensure better security because of the smaller entry space that remains once they are fixed in their upright positions. The parking barriers are secured by a padlock and integral locks respectively.
