This parking post features an integral lock near the top of the post. It is supplied with two keys for the lock that can be keyed alike or differently. Keyed alike means that with an order for multiple posts, we can provide a single key design to open all posts, while differently means that each post will have a different key. 

When in use, the post is lifted from its horizontal position on the ground into its upright position and is locked in place. To disable it, it is unlocked, lifted up slightly and laid down. When in its lowered position, the post is just 100mm high. This easily allows all vehicles sufficient clearance to pass over it without risk of damage. Do, however, note that drivers should avoid driving over the post itself and on its base with their wheels, to avoid damaging it or their tyres. 

The folding parking post can be easily installed as it is of bolt-down design and can be fixed to any solid surface like concrete, tarmac, and stone. It comes in a traffic yellow finish that makes it easily visible both day and night.
