The RetractaPost-GL security steel post is available with internal gas strut as a lift assist to the heavier posts. This allows the user to lift an otherwise heavy bollard with minimal effort and reducing the risk of injury.
The actual lifting weight of the bollards is reduced between 70-80% dependent upon the bollard. Not only is the lifting weight reduced, but also the system acts as a control when the bollard is being lowered into the ground.

INSTALLATION
Full instructions are supplied with each post. Excavated hole 1300mm deep and 500mm diameter. Install with chippings in the bottom to allow drainage. Lid of post should be no more than 10mm above ground level. Concrete should be used to cover the top 360mm of the hole around the post. Keep sliding post clean and occasionally lubricate lock with Ambersil 40+.
