SUMMARY

Manual Swing Car Park barrier is an ideal solution for staff parking areas of large multi-use sites. Constructed from steel rectangular hollow section, it boasts a sturdy arm to prevent access to unauthorised areas. Lockable in both open and closed positions providing peace of mind during overnight periods when the parking is not in use

SPECIFICATION

• Galvanised steel construction.
• Painted red as standard.
• White/red class 2 reflectors.
• Boom length up to 6.0m, 60x60x3mm steel, 996mm to underside of boom.
• Lockable by padlock (available extra).
• Additional catch post is required to lock gate in “open” position.
• Steel pivot post 120x120x5mm thick.
• Catch post of 90 x 50 x 3mm thick.
• Catch post adjustable to ±70mm
• Also available with ragged ends for casting into ground.
• The gate can be secured with the minimum of user intervention due to the spring loaded Self Latching mechanism.
• Padlocks can be used to secure the gate in the open or closed position (recommended).
• Adjustable hinges allow on-site adjustment to ensure that the gate and catch post are correctly aligned.
• The catch post has a reduced height making the release mechanism of the gate easier and reduces the risk of trapped fingers.
• Added safety features include:- Skirt height of 550mm (approx car bumper height).
• Double gates are also available with central locking or double removable catch post.

INSTALLATION

Main foundation 600 x 600 x 500mm deep minimum. Catch post foundation 300mm cube.

Main post required 4 qty 16mm bolts. End catch post requires 4 qty 12mm bolts. Also available with ragged end for casting into ground.
