DDA100 Compliant Bollard

Part of the EB range of bollards - the preferred bollard on many retail parks - the DDA100 is fully compliant with BS 8300:2001. This attractive and practical fixed bollard has a high-strength galvanised steel core and rugged, self-coloured casing sleeve, made from medium density polyethylene MDPE. If the sleeve is damaged, it can be easily replaced without any of the associated ground works (sleeves available extra - please see Components). Available ragged for casting in, flanged for bolting down or removable.

• The DDA 100 is fully compliant with BS 8300:2001
• Sleeve is 180mm overall diameter with a durable textured finish, is UV-stable and weather resistant
• Supplied in Black as standard
• 150mm reflective band included in a choice of colours
• MDPE is an easily re-cyclable material
• DDA compliant:- 1000mm above ground with 150mm reflective band
• Galvanised steel core is 114mm overall diameter, 3.25mm wall thickness, 1220mm long overall
• Ragged version 400mm below ground
• Ram-raid deterrent by filling steel core with concrete on site

Installation

To be cast into concrete, minimum of 400mm deep by 300mm square. Fixing spikes ensure stable casting into concrete. Polyethylene sleeve fits over steel core. Allen key is required to tighten steel clamp to fix sleeve to core. Recommended centres to prevent vehicular access is 1.2 to 1.3m.
