Removable Post With Extra Security

Forms a rigid barrier when positioned. Commonly found where access is only occasionally required, or required during daytime so posts can be locked in at night time.

To remove the post the padlock (available extra with the regular post, provided with the security post) is unlocked, the pin is disengaged from the locking bracket on the underside of the ground plate, and the post can then be lifted out. Once clear, the flap closes flush with the ground leaving no projections or unprotected holes. Retaining pin & hinge pin of zinc plated mild steel.

Security post includes case hardened retaining pin and High security CISA padlock as standard.. Regular post includes standard retaining pin but NO PADLOCK.

INSTALLATION

Ground socket must be concreted in to ground to depth of at least 267mm & approx 300mm square. Flap when closed should be flush with surrounding ground and it is important that the socket is in a vertical position before the concrete sets. Allow for draining from bottom of excavated hole.

Recommended centres for posts to prevent vehicle access is 1.3m.
