Slim Cast Iron Street Bollard

These cast iron bollards are manufactured from ductile iron, which is an iron/carbon/silicon alloy which has a high tensile strength.

The carbon is present in spheroidal form, rather than flake, reducing the risk of crack propagation and brittleness. Ductile iron weight for weight is twice the strength of standard grey cast iron and is manufactured to BSEB 1563 1997. Cast Iron Bollards are supplied coated with rust preventative primer and with a painted black finish.
